Meet Kathy!

Hi, I’m Kathleen Healy, a loving dog mama who will love your babies like my own! I am a lifelong animal lover, having raised dogs, cats, birds, fish and even a rat named Julio. I love meeting people and caring for their pets.

 

After a career as a litigation paralegal and some time in hospitality, I retired and moved to the East Mountains of New Mexico. Little did I know way back when I was caring for neighbors’ pets while working as a busy paralegal that I would one day have a pet sitting business!

 

Seeing the tremendous need in the East Mountains for responsible, trustworthy pet sitters, I started Critter Sitters in January of 2023. The response has been overwhelming. The connection I make with my clients and their animals has been one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. I fall in love with every single one of them and they fall in love with me!

 

I am grateful to have a job where I can combine my professionalism, hospitality and love of animals. I have many repeat clients who entrust their homes and animals to me, and I would love to get to know you and care for your pets.
